Since it is picked early, before we are busy making the other wines we have ample time to focus on coaxing out all of the subtle complexity residing in the grapes. we employ a multitude of regimens to various sub-lots picked over the course of about three weeks and end up making about eight unique wines which are blended to create our three Sauvignon Blanc releases.
This wine leads with the aromas of lemon zest, wet river rocks and the slightest impression of fresh cut grass. The palate is bright and lively redolent of lemon meringue and hints of white pepper.
