A beautiful blend of 81% Merlot, 16% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 3% Malbec all from the estate. Your nose is greeted with aromas of mint, plum, and a hint of tobacco while the palate is juicy with red currant and brier flavors, supple tannins, a long, silky finish, and a graphite backbone.
Dried bay leaves, mint, and English plum give way to savory aromatic undertones of lightly roasted coffee, and tobacco. Focused acidity keeps everything in line on the palate, with supple tannins and a dense lingering finish.
Berries were 100% destemmed to tank and fermented over the course of 15 days. Upon pressing, the wine was racked to French oak barrels, of which 40% were new, where it rested for 24 months prior to bottling.
