Owned by the Eakle family, Pope Valley Winery is located in the northeastern hills just beyond Howell Mountain in Napa Valley. Our two estate vineyards, with a combined 80 planted acres, yield distinctive wines characteristic of our Pleasanton loam & Bressa-Dibble complex soil.
Berries were 100% destemmed to tank and fermented over the course of 21 days. Upon pressing, the wine was racked to French oak barrels, of which 40% were new, where it rested for 24 months prior to bottling.
