Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
This "blush" colored rosé is a light salmon color with aromatics of white peach, strawberries and cream. Its mid palate is full, and rich with firm acidity with a clean finish.
Vineyard Notes
These vineyards yield rich fruit forward wines characteristic of the terroir. Pope Valley vineyards are located in the North-Eastern hills of the Vaca Mountains in a town called Pope Valley within the Napa Valley Appellation. The soil is a pleaston loam with areas of a Bressa-Dibble complex. Pope Valley is a warm growing climate with cool evenings and mornings which allow the grapes to hang on the vine long enough to ripen to their fullest potential and cool enough at nights to develop complex varietal aromas.

Winemaker Notes
Our style of rosé winemaking showcases elegant aromatics of our Sangiovese. Half this lot is Saigneed and is intended to show off its ripe rich palate and red fruit aromas while the other half is picked earlier and whole cluster pressed to provide a nice backbone of refreshing acidity.
Food Pairing Notes
Pair with appetizers or serve as an aperitif
