Slight maceration prior to pressing gives this wine the mouthfeel needed to compliment its aromatics. This Chenin is highlighted with notes of Meyer lemon peel, candied almond, stonefruit, and earth. Juicy acidity is carried across the palate to the finish on the back of oyster-shell like minerality.
This mouth-watering Chenin is the perfect alternative to Sauvignon blanc or Pinot Gris. To deliver the full expression of this grape this vintage was crushed, pressed and fermented cold to show off its aromatics.
