This wine shows great depth, the first impression is red cherry supported by warm spice and vanilla, in the middle you get rich blackberries, and it finishes with a firm structure and balanced acidity.

Vineyard Notes
Pope Valley Winery is located in the northeastern hills just beyond Howell Mountain in Napa Valley. Our two estate vineyards with a combined 80 planted acres, at the winery and our Eakle Ranch vineyard, yield rich distinctive wines characteristic of the terroir.
Winemaker Notes
Berries were 100% destemmed to tank and fermented over the course of 21 days. Upon pressing, the wine was racked to French oak barrels, of which 40% were new, where it rested for 26 months prior to bottling.
