Aromas of fresh black plums, black pepper jerky, and violet entice you to taste this big, juicy, mouth coating wine and revel in flavors of black currant and cedar, braced by subtle graphite; on the finish you find fine, dense tannins and fresh wild mushroom undertones. One of my favorites!

The purple-ruby color is the perfect introduction to this deep, complex wine. The aromas contain ripe blackberry, cool menthol and earthy lycan, the palate is plush and supple reminiscent of juicy black plums, english thyme and cocoa powder, the finish is long and persistent with fine tannins and firm structure. It will knock your socks off now and only improve over the next 15 years.
The nose is savory and nutty complemented by notes of dried figs and brandy cherries. The flavors are reminiscent of dried apricot and Brazil nuts with subtle leather and white pepper notes, followed by a soft decadent finish.
