About This Wine
The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Localloma grapes came from a local Pope Valley grape grower. These grapes were barrel aged in 100% oak (30% new) for 20 months. The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Localloma was bottled on August 26, 2011 and has an aging potential of 10 years.
On the nose, the rich, powerful and luscious pure black currant, plum and raspberry fruit tones complex with buttery, toasty oak. A rich and concentrated entry to the palate leads to an ample and well balanced wine with refined elegance and excellent persistence.
