The 2007 growing season brought prime conditions for growing Zinfandel in Pope Valley. Our Estate Vineyards thrived during the hot sunny days to produce fruit with intense flavors and character. Those flavors were able to further develop after aging for 20 months in a combination of French and American oak barrels. Our 2007 Zinfandel has notes of black cherry, strawberry jam and wild berry complemented with subtle spice, clove and a hint of oak. This wine will pair perfect with Braised Short ribs or Bar-B-Q Steak.
