Sangiovese, the most famous Italian grape is perfectly suited for the Pope Valley terroir. These grapes were farmed for Rose. We give the vines a little more water and room to grow, producing the subtle, fresh flavor and delicate texture we love.

Tasting Notes
This rosé is the beautiful pale pink of a summer sunset, it
greets the taster with a perfume of honeydew and
bubblegum, the palate is juicy and expressive tasting of
strawberry and apricot, finishing with clean minerality of
slate.
Vineyard Notes
Owned by the Eakle family Pope Valley Winery is located
in the northeastern hills just beyond Howell Mountain in
Napa Valley. Our two estate vineyards with a combined 80
planted acres, at the winery and our Eakle Ranch vineyard,
yield rich distinctive wines characteristic of the terroir.
