The beautiful, subtle pink pigment is the perfect introduction to the freshly baked bread, bubble gum, and ripe melon aromas, the flavors are bright, clean, and yeasty with strawberry and cucumber notes, evolving into slate, fig, and cotton candy on the finish.
The grapes were grown in our Sangiovese block farmed especially for Rosé. We give the vines a little more water and room to grow to create the subtle fresh flavor we love. This lot was harvested early, at 20 degrees brix to retain the bright acidity which is the hallmark of a great sparkling wine. The base wine was made in stainless steel, then fermented in bottling according to the Méthode Traditionnelle, and aged en tirage for four months.
