David Eakle
David Eakle is our current winemaker along with consulting
winemaker Shaun Richardson. David was born and raised in Pope
Valley. David has helped in the family business from planting
vineyard, pruning to bottling and production over the
years.
After graduating from CSU Chico in 2007 with a B.S. in
Agricultural Business, David came back to Pope Valley to
work at Pope Valley Winery. In 2010 David took over the
winemaking position along with consultant Shaun Richardson. Today
David prides himself on making premium wines from the vineyards he
helped to plant.
